“Most Interesting Part Of The Show”: Sunny Hostin Has To Read Another Legal Note After Making False Claim About Pete Hegseth [WATCH]

In yet another entertaining moment on ABC’s “The View,” co-host Sunny Hostin had to read off yet another legal note after she made a false, or at least misleading, claim about President-elect Donald Trump’s Secretary of Defense nominee, Pete Hegseth. That embarrassing incident came on Monday, December 2.

As with past incidents, this one came when the co-hosts discussed Trump nominee Pete Hegseth, a combat veteran and Fox News Channel host Pete Hegseth, who has been accused of various bad things, mainly related to drinking and sex, much like Brett Kavanaugh was during his confirmation hearing.

Hostin, after yelling about Hegseth’s background, had to read off a legal note, which she did in deadpan, saying, “Pete Hegseth has denied any wrongdoing. His lawyer said he paid the woman in 2023 to head off the threat of a baseless lawsuit. No charges were ever brought.” Whoopi, annoyed, snapped at the producers, saying, “You rushed me for that?”

Commenting on the legal note situation, conservative X (formerly Twitter) personality Tim Young said, “Sunny Hostin had to read ANOTHER legal note to cover for their false claims against Pete Hegseth! At what point does ABC realize The View is a major liability and either fire the lunatic hosts or cancel the show?”

Replying to Young with a quote tweeted joke about the utter state of “The View” and what sort of nonsense is going on with it, along with how tiresome and unwatchable it is without incidents like Hostin having to read legal notes and similar fact-check situation, another poster joked, “The legal notes are the most interesting part of the show.”

Another commenter on Young’s post joked that the only reason people hear about what happened on The View is that they are so absurd and ridiculous that their clips are posted to social media. That commenter said, “if it weren’t for social media no one would ever hear of these nitwits.” Another said, “The only way to shut them up is sue them into bankruptcy.”

Other commenters dropped jokes like “LOL!!! Maybe they should stop spewing so much nonsense all the time” and “These Hostage Legal Notes are making the View fun again. 🤣🤣” And, replying to that second comment joking that Hostin is like a hostage when she reads the notes, another commenter noted that Hostin is a lawyer, making her need for the notes all the funnier, saying, “😂😂 isn’t she supposed to be a lawyer herself?”

Another commenter called for them to cancel the show, saying, “Cancel the show…it really is turning into a circus..another legal note. Sounds staged to me.” Another said, on that same note, “At what point will they just sue that stupid show, the BS is already out there, and they scoff like it’s a joke every time.” Watch the incident here:

On a similar note, another commenter on Young’s post said, “The hate having to read these reports, Sunny face was blank you could tell Se was seething inside.” Similarly, yet another commenter said, “Absolutely! The show needs a serious revamp or it’s just going to keep sinking.” Suggesting what might have happened, yet another said, “They’re trying to milk it for ratings now.”
